Wow.
Sunshine, come on down…..
The rice paddy is pointing pretty much due east….
Now that this is done I can repair the damage to my rear fence and clean up that back corner; I delayed this project in case the tree men needed to back their bucket truck in a little to reach the trees. (They didn’t)

I bet that makes a big difference! We moved six months ago to five acres and about the only spot I have enough sunshine for a “formal” garden area is about 100×50. I hate to take down mature healthy trees so we’ll try some pruning and see how things go….. plus I’m tucking a lot of things like perennials and berry bushes into spots here and there that get sun.
I found your blog researching bat houses as that’s near the top of my to-do list!
Ha I wondered as I have gotten some click throughs from your blig…. Too bad my beautiful bat house was slapped down by the flying roof pieces in April. 😦
