So what camera setup are you using for the close-ups? After seeing these photos, and having so much trouble getting quality close ups with my iphone…I may need to think about upgrading.
Nikon D5100. All of these were with a fixed 85mm lens i think. The coneflowers were in low light in my kitchen off of a tripod; the lens is really made for macro shots as is can reproduce 1:1 from about 9″ for huge detail. The flowers were out about 20″ and I cropped the photos a bit.
