Ridiculous
September 23, 2011
The pepper fairy sprinkled magic dust over the yard this year; this was about half of what was ready this evening.
The larger ones are poblanos and their foundation consists of a few dozen jalapenos. The background in the picture is one of the multiple Thai basil volunteers that cropped up all over the place this year; this late in the year the bees are loving it.
OK one more picture:
Great looking peppers, my friend. Any plans on what you’re going to for with them? Poblanos are great for drying.
Been stuffing the poblanos and eating them fresh/hot but was going to dry the last ones off the bush in a few weeks. – don’t have a dehydrator but was going to rig something up. Suggestions?
The jalapenos are no worry, can absorb as many as harvested- will post what I have been doing with them….
I have a real dehydrator you can borrow if down my way, but I also found instructions to make your own.

I have also heard of people parking their car in a sunny location and just using the rear dash.
Hope it helps.
