26 degrees Friday night; the weekend was spent cleaning wilted plants from beds and trellises.

One really doesn’t have a the whole gourd story until the vines disappear…..
Bushel Basket Gourds + Cross with Apple Gourds
I thought I might have 15-20 decent bushel basket gourds and bushel basket/apple gourd crosses; it looks like the ultimate count will be 40 or more. These generally range from 9 or 10 inches to maybe 15 or 16 in diameter.

WOW! I LOVE that story! I’ve never grown gourds & I’m so intrigued. What are the uses you have found for them? I saw some smaller gourds you made into beautiful lights. Awesome gourd crop!
